Reykjavik, on the coast of Iceland, is the country's capital and largest city. It is located in southwestern Iceland, on the southern shore of Faxflói Bay. The city's coastline is characterized by peninsulas, coves, straits, and many small islands, It offers a good natural harbour, and therefore fishing is a huge part of the city.
