Part 1: 1-Hour Reykjavik Peak ATV Adventure

Pickup & Gear Up: Our professional guides will pick you up at 09:00 from your hotel or designated bus stop and take you to Safari Quads Basecamp. Here, you'll be equipped with all the necessary gear and taught how to operate the ATVs.
Scenic Drive & Ascent: Begin your adventure with a scenic drive by Hafrawater Lake, then enjoy a thrilling ascent up Reykjavik Peak Mountain. Take in breathtaking views of Reykjavik, Faxaflói Bay, and the Reykjavik Peninsula.
Drop-off: After the ATV adventure, you'll be dropped off at the BSI Bus Terminal.

Part 2: Blue Lagoon Experience

Transfer to Blue Lagoon: Board a coach bus with Reykjavik Excursions at 12:30 from the BSI Bus Terminal for a short 30-40 minute drive to the Blue Lagoon.
Relax & Unwind: Enjoy the soothing hot springs, silica mud masks, and other amenities at the Blue Lagoon, set in the stunning lava fields of the Reykjanes Peninsula.

Additional Information

Driver Requirements: To operate the ATV, all drivers must be 17 years or older and have a valid driver's license in their home country. Passengers do not need a license. Motorbike or provisional licences are not sufficient due to Icelandic Law. While you do not need to have the physical license with you, you will be required to sign a liability form affirming that you hold such a license. Driving under the consumption of alcohol or illicit drugs is prohibited. If we suspect a participant is intoxicated, we will prohibit them from joining the activity.

Before each tour starts, our team will explain how to operate the ATV and explain all the details so you are ready to hit the roads.

Note: ATV tracks are dependent on weather and trail conditions.

Meeting points

We offer pickup from downtown Reykjavik as well as a self-drive option.

Reykjavik Downtown Pickup: We offer an optional transfer service for 3000 ISK per person from downtown bus stops. Be ready at your designated pickup point (Bus Stop, Direct Pickup, or BSI Bus Terminal) at the specified time. If your ticket indicates "Go to Bus Stop or BSI," please arrive there. Pickup can take up to 30 minutes. All hotels in central downtown are in a no-pick-up zone. Therefore, you will need to walk to the nearest bus stop. You can check www.busstop.is for available bus stops. You can also search for them on Google Maps.
Self-Drive Option: If you prefer to drive yourself, our base camp is only 15 minutes from downtown Reykjavik. Our base camp address is Lambhagavegur 19, 113 Reykjavik. You will need to arrive at least 10 minutes before departure time. Showing up late and missing the departure will result in no refund. We have FREE parking at our base camp.

We will pick you up at 09:00 from your hotel or designated bus stop and take you to Safari Quads Basecamp. If you drive yourself you will need to arrive at the base camp at least 10 minutes before departure time.

End point

Drop-off in Reykjavík at the same location as pickup or self-drive option.

What to bring

We suggest that you dress warm & accordingly to the weather on the tour day. We will provide all you need for the tour, but it's good to come with good underneath layers on cold days.

Pricing: All prices are per person. The shared option includes a two-person shared ride, priced per person. If you have an odd number of travellers or are a solo traveller book the single-rider option.
Weight limit: 220kg/530lbs per person as a solo driver. Combined weight per ATV/ Buggy = 240kg/530 lbs(double rider)
Pick-up & Drop-off are available in Reykjavík or if you prefer to drive yourself, our base camp, Lambhagavegur 19, 113 Reykjavik, is only 15 minutes from downtown Reykjavik.
You can reschedule your tour anytime with a 24-hour notice.
We do not recommend women who are pregnant participate in our tours. If you are travelling in a group, you are welcome to travel with them and stay at our base camp while the group goes on the ATV part of the tour.
