A zipline ride is an exciting adventure suitable for those who love a thrilling challenge while ensuring their safety. The tour involves a hike through a stunning river canyon, followed by four zipline rides ranging from 30 to 140 meters in length. As you whiz down the zipline, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking bird’ s-eye view of the gorgeous scenery below.

Our zipline adventure is next to the picturesque village of Vík, surrounded by stunning hills and river canyons on Iceland’s South Coast. Here, nature's beauty meets the thrill of adventure.

Arrival

Upon arrival at our base, we will provide you with the latest safety equipment and a comprehensive briefing. After everyone has checked in, taken a restroom break, and boarded the bus, we will embark on our adventure.

A bus ride

Once we’ve finished our 5-minute drive, the real adventure will begin! We’ll then take a leisurely 5-minute hike which will lead us to the take-off platform for the first zip line, Big Russ. You don’t have to worry as we will provide you with detailed safety instructions to ensure your comfort and confidence.

Prepare yourself for an exhilarating experience! As you glide over a magnificent river canyon, you’ll have an awe-inspiring view of the area that’s beyond your wildest dreams. And that’s just the beginning. The second zipline, The Gentle Giant, is an absolute joy that will leave you wanting more! But wait, there’s more! After the first two ziplines, we’ll hike through the unique rock formation of Grafargil (Grave Canyon), which is filled with caves and other natural wonders, to our fourth zipline, Little Russ. But don’t worry, we’ll have to cross the river creatively, so we named it Leap of Faith. Little Rush will take you over a stunning waterfall and cross two canyons.

Way back

Finally, after enjoying the breathtaking views, we will return to the base by bus. However, if you prefer and the weather permits, you can hike back following the old deserted highway. It will take you about 15 minutes longer. So, what are you waiting for? Join us for an adventure that you will never forget!
